CAMPER'S TIPS - Baking Soda

Baking Soda for just about everything! An open box works as well in your RV refrigerator as it does at home. A few tablespoons will freshen (the taste of) potable water stored for extended period in the water tank of your trailer or portable containers, although fresh water should be number one on everybody's lists!

It can also be used instead of toothpaste, and certainly for any "gastric distress" resulting from the "good life". When you get home with perhaps a case of "funkus ice chestus" don't scrub yourself to death trying to clean it. Fill the esky or fridge with warm water, pour in half a box of soda, wait an hour or so, empty, rinse and dry, no more funk.

If you are using a hose to fill water tanks or containers buy one that that has been designed for drinking water and will not leave the taste of plastic behind.
